Edward Kenway comes to the fore in new Assassin’s Creed IV trailer

Circle ’round me hearties and listen well, for I’ll be tellin’ ye the tale of Captain Edward Kenway.

There’s a lot about the overarching narrative in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag that we just don’t know yet. While there’s nothing about the modern story elements in this trailer, there’s plenty about Captain Kenway.

Easily one of the most interesting protagonists that the series has seen thus far, Kenway seems to see the Assassin’s as a means to an end more than anything else. It’ll be very interesting to see how he not only tackles the Templars, but also the Assassin’s themselves who don’t seem to have all that much of a presence in Black Flag’s world.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag releases for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 29th. An Xbox One, PS4, PC and Wii U edition is also in the cards and will debut on November 22nd in the UK.
