Prince of Persia returns on iOS and Android today

Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame has arrived on mobiles today.

The Shadow and the Flame is a direct followup to the Prince of Persia Classic mobile game released a short time ago by Ubisoft and is essentially a remake of the original title released two decades ago. It picks up where Classic left off and was developed by the same house, Ubisoft Pune.

If you played Classic then you have some idea of what to expect from The Shadow and the Flame, though there are some pretty big changes from the older title. First and foremost is that you can now switch between touch-based controls and a virtual stick, which is always a nice option for more classically minded gamers. You’ll also find a revamped combat system with more bad guys to take out as well as “tactical challenges and a brand new combo system”.

Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame is available now and you can grab it on the iOS App Store, Google Play or Amazon for Android.
