Ubisoft releases Assassin’s Creed IV narrated E3 trailer

Take a walk through an actual mission in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

There’s a lot to like in that trailer for an AC fan.

The historical aspects of the series seem to be intact for this piratical leaning edition, and that’s something that I personally am very happy to hear since there isn’t a whole lot of solid info on pirates aside from stories and myth. The gunplay also looks way improved over what we’ve seen before with both free aim and blasting of the automatic variety.

Above everything else though, I’m most impressed by the excellent looking environments. I know that the Assassin’s Creed teams pride themselves on the surroundings that are built for every entry in the franchise, but this looks to be the most detailed yet. Most of that is thanks to the power of the Xbox One and the PS4, but it’s nice to see regardless.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag arrives on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC. Current generation systems will get their copies on October 29th and the next-gen can expect their alongside their respective launches.
