The 4th is with Dark Horse Digital

Dark Horse Comics is holding a rancor-sized sale for Star Wars Day – May the 4th be with you… and your wallet.

The publisher has a pair of mega-bundles ready and prepped for digital launch in their Dark Horse Digital storefront. There’s one for younger readers (or younglings, if you prefer) and a massive all-encompasing collection that’ll drop 125 Star Wars comics onto your device of choice.

The comic collection places over three thousand pages of Star Wars comics goodness right at your fingertips. It includes some of our most popular Star Wars series, such as Knights of the Old Republic, Blood Ties, Empire, and Dark Times, as well as some of our newest series, such as Dawn of the Jedi, Agent of the Empire, and our smash-hit series simply titled Star Wars, written by comics legend Brian Wood.

The kids’ collection provides over one thousand pages of Star Wars Adventures and The Clone Wars. Hours of summer entertainment for your little Star Wars fan!

In addition to all the comics you’ll be getting with each bundle, Dark Horse is also throwing in an exclusive two page preview of The Star Wars. If you’re not familiar, The Star Wars (emphasis on the The) is a miniseries based on the original screenplay for Star Wars that George Lucas penned before settling on the script that would become the first film in the franchise.

Needless to say, there are a lot of differences between the first draft and the final shooting copy. For hardcore Star Wars fans, it’s a chance to see the evolution of the story of a Galaxy Far, Far Away forst hand.

Both bundles will become available on the 4th (tomorrow) on Dark Horse Digital. Get there on the web, or through the iOS or Android app- just be quick, because the bundles go extinct on the 5th.
