Terrian Saga: KR-17 goes back to the ’90s for classic platforming action

If you’ve ever played through a platformed or two (or a hundred) on the SNES or the Genesis, Terrian Saga: KR-17 is going to take you back…

Launching they May, Wonderfling Studios sets players up in the metal boots of military drone KR-17 in the aptly named Terrian Saga: KR-17. Activated for war, but with a newly gained sense of self, the sentient bot and his sidekick (a self-aware missile) J1M must now fight their way through armies of other mechanoids with use of his “laser, mines, grenades, and flame thrower”, as he attempts to find who the real enemy is behind the robotic onslaught.

The game itself takes place in 9 different worlds and across 60 levels with bosses to fight, hidden stuff to uncover, and upgrades to make to your weapon systems. Also, have you looked at the screenshots yet, because it looks like a Genesis game popped to life in the 21st century- and that is awesome my friends.

Digital Tribe Games and developer Wonderfling Studios newest, Terrian Saga: KR-17 is expected to hit Steam (and “other channels” as well) some time this month for Windows PC and Mac.
