So this is a bit of a shock to see, but last year’s Rise of the Triad reboot just got a fresh dose of DLC in the form of a big, bad, doomstick.
Apologies to Bruce Campbell for this one. Rise of the Triad update 1.4 is now live and in living color- complete with doomstick. The doomstick DLC adds the title weapon (which is a ‘semi-auto shotgun from Hell’) and 6 new maps for you to use it in.
In addition to the maps and the gun, you’ll also get new achievements, feature, options, and cheats in the 1.4 update. You can grab all this right now if you own a copy of the base game for the lofty price of nothing. That’s right, plenty of new stuff for zero new cash. Now that’s a deal that even a primitive screw-head could appreciate.
