Peach gets revealed for Super Smash Bros

It appears to be that time again. The Super Smash Bros official site has gotten updated again, this time revealing Princess Peach.

Her design in the new Super Smash Bros is much like the old one, but definitely improved. The color on her dress is touched up, and the threads seem to look more realistic looking. Whereas in the previous title, the design on her dress, while intricate, looked more plastic. Her hair color is an even brighter yellow this time around too. Several screenshots of her fighting have been posted on the site as well. You can see Peach using her toad counter attack against Mario, seemingly getting attacked by Bowser, and many more.

So far the nature of the information leaked by Sakurai this summer has been more subtle than Brawl‘s. This is arguably for the better, as the hype for the game doesn’t die down. By the time Super Smash Brothers Brawl was released, the public had known so much about it, there was hardly anything to discover anymore. This way, we’re getting small tastes without having everything spoiled all at once before the game’s inevitable release. It will make really surprising revelations that much more earth shattering.
