Divinity: Original Sin 2 announced, hitting Kickstarter

Heading back to Kickstarter to fund the sequel to the first title, Larian Games has a whole new Divinity: Original Sin ready for RPG fans.

Billed as the company’s “most ambitions RPG ever”, the sequel to Divinity: Original Sin is officially happening. Well it will be anyway, if it gets funded. Not that there’s probably too much of a chance of that not happening, but the series is heading back to Kickstarter, so it’ll be up to the fans to say if a second run at the world created by Larian gets the go-ahead.

Again though, the original game got all kinds of praise and was a hit with gamers, so I don’t think there’s too much of a chance of this slipping by the boards. The campaign will be live on the crowd-funding site as of August 26th, so make sure you log on and support it if you’d like to see a second Original Sin (wouldn’t that make it an Unoriginal Sin?).

Oh, and if you’re heading to PAX Prime, make sure you stop by booth #6011, that’s where Larian will be and you better believe that they’ll have Original Sin 2 on hand in a prototype format. You can keep up with the game here, and even vote for supporter rewards.
