Muse provides the soundtrack for this new Arkham Knight trailer

See more of the Batman and his allies in action and give a listen to the newest track from band Muse in this latest trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight.

A little background for this one, which is kind of a joint effort between the game and the song, which is off Muse’s 7th studio album, Drones. Called ‘Mercy’, Muse’s Matt Bellamy describes the record, which Warner Bros says tells a story that’s not all that dissimilar from the Dark Knight’s own path. According to him, the record “explores the journey of a human: from abandonment and loss of hope, to indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to eventual defection from the oppressors.”

While I don’t know if Batman could ever really be called a ‘drone’ for anyone, it does seem to fit the overall vibe well enough, especially with the totalitarian Arkham Knight running around. He’s got an actual drone army after all.

As usual too, the game looks pretty darn stunning. Not to long now till launch either, as Batman: Arkham Knight hits the Xbox One, PS4, and PC next week – on June 23rd.
