Some new info posted to the Xbox Support forum indicates that there’s a brand new physical controller update coming soon that’ll make things a little easier for those who like personal audio.
If you were one of the many annoyed by the fact that the Xbox One’s controller skipped over the inclusion of an audio jack (I was), Microsoft has heard your pleas. According to a page on the support forums, and picked up by the news at large, is seems that the Xbox pad will be getting a little renovation with the addition of one.
It does seem that that’s the only change being made to the controller, which is fine since it’s a pretty great pad already. The ‘new’ controllers will be hitting some time this June, more than likely post-E3
