JAHAI debuts new video, streams some metal with new album

One of the newest metal bands to come out of the Pacific Northwest, Jahai has their new video ready for your listening pleasure with Pandora’s Box.

Warning: Unrepentantly metal tunage below.

From their first EP, Death and Entrances, the video for Pandora’s Box was directed by Daniel Jacob Harbold and goes heavy onto landmarks of the US northwest. So chances are, if you live in the area somewhere, you’ll recognize some of what’s in here. Harbold says his goal for the shoot was to connect with the emotion of the band, as well as build a powerful storyline for the video, which is pretty dark.

“Working on this project has really taken me to a new level as a filmmaker. I drew a lot of inspiration from the passion seen in the band while shooting the performance scenes,” remarked Director Daniel Jacob Harbold.  “From that point, I knew I had to develop an equally raw emotion in the conceptual storyline that was to follow.”

“I had a blast working with, and getting to know Jahai personally. They’re just a well-rounded group of fun, funny & talented badasses! I look forward to getting to work on the next video,” added Harbold.

If you dug the video above, you can pick the Death and Entrances  on iTunes or Amazon. And there’s a limited digipak as well, that’s available on Bandcamp.
