Check out the princess of Outland, as well as Kung Lao and plenty of over-the-top violence.
So the new design for Kitana is pretty great. Less of a swim-suity thing and more of a fantasy element happening, which is a good thing. And that fatality… oof.
As for Kung Lao, he looks older, but is more or less the same as fans have always known him. The overall aesthetic of MKX is really something though. It’s probably the biggest change even for the series from one game to the next that we’ve seen and it’s a stark one. Sure MK has always been dark and gory, but there’s a sinister air to things now that hasn’t been seen in the series in a good long time (if ever) as the game gets less comic book and more straight-up horror in tone.
We’ll have more MK goodness (?) for you as more fighters are announced. The game hits current and last-gen consoles and the PC on April 14th, 2015.
