Jeremy Renner talks Hawkeye with Larry King

Hawkeye himself, actor Jeremy Renner, appeared on Larry King Now show and talked about his new film Kill the Messenger as well as a wee bit of Avengers: Age of Ultron.

So a few things there. For starters, it looks like the rumors of Hawkeye’s demise on Age of Ultron have been extremely exaggerated. Renner also went on to say there, that Marvel would be keeping him around for a while, so you can probably expect to see the Hawk around in Marvel’s movie universe for a good long time yet.

This also should lay to rest at least some of the rumoring that Captain America would be assembling a whole new Avengers squad at the end of Age of Ultron, since Hawkeye still being a part of things certainly means that any new team would still have some older members hanging around.

So there you go, not a whole lot, but enough of a nugget for fans till we hear more. Avengers: Age of Ultron lands in theaters next year.
