Bethesda’s MMO adaptation of the long-running The Elder Scrolls series of RPG’s is available now. Warning- gorgeous CGI trailer inside.
The latest chapter in the historic and super-popular series of fantasy role-playing games, The Elder Scrolls Online looks to bring all the aspects of the game that we all know and love to the massively multiplayer arena. In the trailer above, you see the siege of a stronghold with a ton of different elements at play including the famous races that we all tweak for about five hours every time we start a new quest in the solo games.
Your options here are just as varied of course, since Bethesda wanted first and foremost to have The Elder Scrolls Online be a game that did the series justice- just in a massively multiplayer kind of way. And massively is the key word there as Bethesda says that a monster 5 million people signed up for the beta. So yes, there are monsters to fight- but you’re probably not going to find yourself too lonely for other players either.
You can grab a copy of The Elder Scrolls Online right now for the PC and Mac, an Xbox One and PS4 version is the works as well, though there’s no ETA quite yet on when to expect it.
