The Punisher #4 (Comics) Preview

West Coast+Dos Soles Gang+Electro= unhappy Frank. Then again, pretty much everything equals an unhappy Frank.

This April, Frank Castle goes toe-to-toe against an army of heavily armed Dos Soles gangsters in THE PUNISHER #4 – and the Dos Soles gang is going to need more guys! From the critically acclaimed creative team of Nathan Edmondson and Mitch Gerads – the Dos Soles gang’s secret weapon has been revealed as none other than Electro! But it’s going to take a lot more than a couple million volts of electricity to take down The Punisher! Meanwhile, the mysterious 131 get the call they’ve been waiting for: Take down the Punisher with extreme prejudice. With enemies closing in all around him, time is running out for Frank Castle. Plus, a new player throws her hat into the ring – and you’ll never guess who! Don’t miss the surprise appearance that will have everyone talking. Who’s the lucky lady? Find out this April in THE PUNISHER #4!

Punisher’s little West Coast trip has been a fun one from a few standpoints. Not only do we get to see Frank as a fish out of water (to some degree anyway), but also up against some baddies that he’s never faced before in the West Coast gang element, the 131, and (of course) Electro.

That last match up is a cool one just from the standpoint that Maxie has been a Spidey villain for years and years and never faced Punisher, or anyone like him, before. Much like Iron Man battling Malekith, it’s just a cool mash. All things considered though, I’m still looking forward to Frank heading back east. The Coast might be a good place for a vacation, but the hard-nosed urban vigilante’s home is in NYC.

The Punisher #4 shoots its way into stores this April the 2nd from Marvel Comics and the team of Nathan Edmondson and Mitch Gerads.
