Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 gets Release Date

Good news for Castlevania fans, as Konami have announced Lords of Shadow 2 will be due for release February 25 2014 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The sequel, developed by MercurySteam, will feature an open world setting to explore, along with new weapons, such as the Void Sword, which absorbs life points from the enemy to recover your own health. Each weapon in the game has its own set of combos and utilizes a mastery system, which allows you to master each weapon you use depending on how often you use the combos for your weapons.

Having completed the first one myself, I can’t wait for what is set to be the closing chapter in dracula’s story. Meanwhile, I’ll have to keep myself busy with Mirrors of Fate HD (I still haven’t played the original release, as I don’t own a 3DS) which is due for release late October on Xbox Live and Playstation Network.
