Like a monster from the briny deep, Resident Evil Revelations for consoles emerged just in time for PAX East. Screens and fresh info after the break.
Revelations will be much the same game as was released on the 3DS, with a few exceptions. Console players can expect to see a few new enemies and two new playable characters in the title’s Raid Mode in the form of Rachel and series mainstay Hunk.
Wii U gamers will get even more new additions with the GamePad featuring map and armory screens. Revelations can also be played straight out with the Wii U ‘Pro’ controller for those seeking a more typical action experience. Oh and the Mii-verse interactions, yeah those are looking like they’re going to be a lot of fun.
The Miiverse feature will offer Wii U players further exclusives. Players can post a dying message on the Game Over screen for other players around the world to see. The ‘Creatures Voice’ function allows players to personalize the thoughts of enemies in Raid Mode to taunt their friends.
Resident Evil Revelations is on the way for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC and is expected to launch on May 21st in the US and the 24th in Europe. You won’t have to wait that long to play though. If you’re going to be at the PAX show this coming week, you can get some hands on time with the game if you stop by the Capcom booth (#948) on the show floor.
