The Blood of Dawnwalker gets one last look before launch

The Blood of Dawnwalker is about to sink its teeth into consoles and the PC. Before it arrives though, get one last look at it in action.

The Dawnwalker is almost here

A game that continues to look like it might be a standout, The Blood of Dawnwalker‘s release is fast-approaching. Crafted by Rebel Wolves, the game casts players as a recently turned, medieval vampire called Coen. But this initiate to the supernatural is different. Instead of turning to ash, he’s able to become human during the day.

If you guessed that means he’ll be on the hunt for bloody vengeance, you’re on the right track. But it also means that The Blood of Dawnwalker will be replete with choices, as Coen is torn between two worlds. Those can be for both good or ill, but players would be wise to make them count.

According to Rebel Wolves, what Coen does will directly affect his world, which promises that “nothing is ever truly black and white.”

The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open-world action RPG set in the atmospheric setting of the Carpathian Mountains. This land is filled not only with beautiful landscapes but also with myths, beliefs, and mysteries hidden within its forests, roadside shrines, and ancient ruins. From the very beginning, the game will give players the freedom to explore the world at their own pace, discover quests, uncover points of interest and seek out secrets, mysteries, and treasures waiting to be discovered.

“All of us here at Rebel Wolves are counting down the days to launch of our first game. We can’t wait for the moment when players step into Vale Sangora and come face-to-face with Brencis and his vampire clique. We also hope that today’s trailer will encourage even more players to visit our booth at gamescom in Hall 6.1 and try our game,” said Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director and Co-Founder of Rebel Wolves.

Rebel Wolves press release

Just the beginning, Rebel Wolves says that it has big plans for Coen and his world. That’ll include future installments of the series-to-be taking players to visit “new eras and cultures, each offering its own setting and experience.” There’s a heck of a lot to play with in that regard, when you’re talking about an immortal hero. That’s down the line though, and The Blood of Dawnwalker is the first foray into the company’s new world.

Would-be players can check the title out when it arrives for the PS5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC. Look for it on September 3rd, 2026. In the meantime, you can check out more on the official site, here.
