Activision released a brand new look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4‘s campaign today. Get ready for the team of Price and… Valeria?
Price goes rogue, in Modern Warfare 4
So, we already knew that Captain Price was a rogue agent in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. That much was made very apparent in one of the first looks at the game in action, where he squared off against Ghost, who’s apparently very much still an operator.
But did you expect to see him teaming up with one of the series’ arch foes? We definitely didn’t, though that’s just what’s on tap in the newest look at the game’s campaign. In it, we see Price teaming with the villainous Valeria Garza in a mission set in Paris.
Though it appears to start out as a cinematic, the video seems to shift to actual in-game action, delivering a brief but impactful look at play. And while some of that action is on foot, not all of it is. Price leans out of the side of a car in the trailer, guns blazing, as he engages what looks to be a mix of enemies and police.
That’s certainly outside of the realm of the Price that players are familiar with, but again, he’s not exactly the same guy in Modern Warfare 4.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 continues to pique our interest, as these early looks at play are coming across pretty slick. If you’re in the same boat, you won’t have too long till you’ll be able to pick up a copy, as Activision and Infinity Ward‘s latest arrives on consoles and PC this October the 23rd, 2026.
Those who’d like to play a little earlier than that too, might want to set themselves up with a digital pre-order. While it won’t affect multiplayer availability, securing a pre-order in that manner will get you playing the campaign on the 16th.
