SDCC 26: Jada Toys readies Street Fighter, Invincible, and more

Fans of Ultra Street Fighter II and Invincible’s animated series have some exclusives to check out, as Jada Toys heads to Comic Con.

It wouldn’t be a Comic Con without some exclusives, and Jada Toys has its own selection coming up. Formerly known for die-cast offerings, Jada has absolutely exploded into the action figure space over the last few years. That started with impressive Ultra Street Fighter II and Mega Man lines, but didn’t stop there. The venture has now grown to encompass Cyberpunk Edgerunners and, most lately, Invincible.

Two of those series’ will be getting exclusives at the aforementioned SDCC too, split across a trio of offerings. The legendary Street Fighter will lead the way, with both an Akuma action figure (player two colors) and an innovative collection of alternate “You Lose” head sculpts.

We did mention there was a third offering though, and that would be Invincible himself. Hailing from the hit animated series, this version of Invincible is decked out in his blue costume, and has definitely been through the wringer. Yep, much like those Ultra Street Fighter II heads, he’s “Battle Damaged”.

As mentioned, all of the above are SDCC exclusives from Jada, and will be found at Booth #4049. But hang on, because those who can’t make it to the show will have a chance to get them too. That’s because they’ll all be heading to Jada‘s online shop.

Fans will be able to find them here, while supplies last, on the first full day of the Con. So, starting on Thursday, July 23rd (at 10am PT), make sure you click over to the store.

The above is your full collection of show exclusives from Jada Toys, but there’s much more planned. The toy company will be hitting SDCC with a panel set to kick off on July 3rd, at 3pm, in Room 9*. That looks like it might be a barn burner too, with some big announcements.

The Invincible line will headline, with a full reveal at the panel. But that’s just to start. A series of updates will accompany the aforementioned detailing too, and it’s packing big names. You can look for “Street Fighter Alpha 3, Mega Man, Scooby-Doo, and more” to all be included.

According to Jada too, fans will have reason to revisit the booth all throughout SDCC. Playing off of the company’s lineage in the world of replica automotives, Sung Kang will be stopping by, and he’s just one of the special guests planned. Jada says additional “guest appearances, surprise reveals, and booth programming will roll out throughout San Diego Comic-Con”.

Entertainment Earth will even be working with Jada to “provide gift cards for booth giveaways, along with dedicated social media activations.” So with all of that, there’s a ton on deck. And if you’re a big fan of what the company produces, you might want to visit often.
