Sideshow reveals Hot Toys He-Man and Skeletor figures

The Masters of the Universe movie is coming soon, and the film’s take on He-Man and Skeletor will both be getting Hot Toys figures.

Heading to theaters in early June, is Masters of the Universe. And wow, does that still feel weird to write. Oft rumored, the film had a few false starts over the years, and was more or less left for dead by fans. But it takes quite a bit to keep this property down, and indeed, Masters of the Universe is coming up.

The modern take on the long-lived property will be the first theatrical endeavor for it since the 1987 installment. That movie starred Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella, as He-Man and Skeletor, respectively. For the new film, it’ll be Nicholas Galitzine and Jared Leto in those roles, both of whom bear a solid resemblance to their classic counterparts this time around. And as you can see, both the hero and villain will be getting collector figures, thanks to Hot Toys.

Retailer Sideshow made that reveal today, detailing some impressive looking 12″ scale figures. In a cool twist too, both He-Man and Skeletor will feature silicone outer layers. According to the press release, those’ll move with posing, granting a wide range of motion and muscles that actually flex. We imagine that it also eliminates the need for a good number of more obvious joints, which is great for barbarian-themed characters like these.

Both He-Man and Skeletor will be shipping out later in 2027, but pre-orders are open now via online retailers, including Sideshow. In their shop, Sideshow has He-Man listed at the price of $310 USD, and Skeletor at $355 USD.

Starring Jared Leto as the sinister Lord of Destruction, the thrilling new reimagining of Masters of the Universe introduces a terrifying new vision of Skeletor!

The Skeletor 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure features a newly crafted head that captures his monstrous visage, with an LED light-up function that illuminates his eyes with a piercing red glow.
