Evercade’s NEOGEO series continues with vol.4

A fourth NEOGEO collection is coming for the Evercade line of consoles. It’s packed with King of the Monsters, Metal Slug 4, and more.

Fans of SNK’s classic arcade titles are, as they say, eating well. It’s pretty much setting up to be a big few years in general for them. That’s especially true for those who also own an Evercade-brand console too. For those somehow out of the loop on that, Blaze Entertainment’s series of consoles has a pretty sharp line of cartridges paying homage to NEOGEO arcade games.

As of this writing, there are a trio of carts out and about for play on Evercades, but that number’s about to increase. Just revealed last week, and inbound for this summer, is NEOGEO Arcade 4. Its lineup is looking good, with even more of SNK’s biggest hits included.

Even cooler, is that those who’ve updated their Evercade consoles will be able to access some slick options. Users who have hit that update will be able to take advantage of the games’ “individual dip switches and AES modes”. How neat is that?

According to Blaze, NEOGEO Arcade 4 will be playable on all Evercade hardware. So whether you’ve got a handheld, a set-top, or an Evercade Alpha, you should be good to go. And yes, that also goes for the HyperMegaTech! Super Pocket consoles, for those wondering.

As for when you can look for NEOGEO Arcade 4 to hit shelves, it’s going to startlingly be soon. Expect the cart to arrive sometime next month, in June of 2026. Pre-orders? Yep, they’re open now.
