If you’re a 90s wrestling fan, 2K has some great-looking cover art for you to check out. WWE 2K26 is (mostly) heading back to the Attitude Era.
The Show Never Stops in WWE 2K26
Now, granted, one of the new cover images that 2K has shared is a little more 2000s than 1990s. But all the same, there’s a theme present for WWE 2K26 that’s a little tough to ignore. And yes, that’d be the WWE’s rampantly successful Attitude Era.
A trio of special editions are being prepped for the game’s launch, set for presumably this spring. From what we’ve seen thus far, and there’s a lot more information coming today, fans will be able to pick from the Attitude Era Edition, the Monday Night Wars Edition, and the King of Kings Edition.
The first two are obvious in theme, while the third one is Triple H-centric, showing the longtime heel making his entrance while brandishing the WCW title.

For now, that’s all the information that we’ve got you on WWE 2K26. As mentioned above though, don’t worry, because there’s a ringfull more incoming. 2K says that we should expect an info dump some time today actually, and it sounds like it’ll be fairly in-depth.
Fans should be on the lookout for details about game features, as well as the final cover reveal. We assume that’s the standard edition’s, as the three above are assuredly not that. Just who might be on that fourth cover is anyone’s guess, though we’re a little more interested to see what those features entail.
Will “The Island”, or some variation thereof, be making a return? That might be the biggest question pertaining to the game. It was one of the more controversial elements in the 2025 edition of the game, but definitely seems as though it has some massive possibilities to it. It’ll be interesting to see what developer Visual Concepts has in store for it.
Stay tuned WWE fans, and we’ll fill you in as soon as we get the word.
