Conan the Barbarian #25 (Comics) Preview

Titan Comics’ Conan the Barbarian series hits issue #25 with a fully-painted tale. The 48 page standalone story lands next month.

Crom! It’s Conan’s 25th

The most famed barbarian in all of pop culture is absolutely rolling over at Titan Comics. Based on the classic tales from Robert E. Howard and with Jim Zub at the helm as writer, Conan the Barbarian (the comic series) is set to hit issue #25. And oh boy is it doing it in style.

Just revealed by the publisher, is that said issue will be fully painted, featuring art from Alex Horley. If you know fantasy art, then you’re likely familiar with that name. One of the biggest talents in the genre today, Horley’s done work for major publishers, Rob Zombie, and even Sideshow. As it happens, he’s also not a stranger to the title character of this particular book.

Along with the painted interiors, Conan the Barbarian #25 will feature a slate of variant cover works. In a cool twist too, they’ll all be hailing from former interior artists on the book. Look for variants from Roberto De La Torre, Jonas Scharf, Doug Braithwaite, and Danica Brine.

An epic preview

To give fans a taste of what’s to come, Titan Comics has unleashed a special preview of the issue in question. That glimpse includes some of those variant covers, as well as a few pages of those stunning interiors. Scroll down to check it out.

THE NOMAD: Conan the King welcomes a strange visitor with an even stranger mission. Can the Ruler of Aquilonia prove his mettle or will the mysterious wanderer’s incredible power change the course of history?

Titan Comics press release

Stay tuned action fans, Conan the Barbarian #25 arrives in stores in less than a month, on October 8th.
