Garfield Kart 2 rumbles to the starting line, is out now

The funny fat cat is back on the starting line. Another 2025 release for the kart racing genre brings Garfield Kart 2 to consoles and the PC.

Oh yes, he’s back. Garfield Kart 2 – All you can Drift follows on the wheels of 2013’s original, and brings Garfield, Odie, and more of the cartoon cat’s pals and annoyances back to the track. This time around, the Microids racer hails from developer Eden Games, so you bet there’s a lasagne pan full of differences.

Fans will find a trio of distinctive worlds to race through in Garfield Kart 2. Each has its own vibe too, with pirate, western, and detective themes. Of course, that’s not all, as those worlds host a selection of tracks.

Each of those is stocked with shortcuts, bonus items, and from the look of it, its fair share of wacky action. Players will take to those tracks with their own customizable karts as well. Fans can build to their heart’s content, with “bumpers, wheels, and spoilers, as well as style and color” all on the table.

While of course there’s solo play, fans can also dig into a little online. Up to eight players can race in online multiplayer, and the title also supports offline split-screen play for four. It’s always nice to see that.

Garfield, Odie, Nermal, and the whole crew are at the starting line, raring to go! Play as one of the eight beloved characters from the Garfield universe, fill up your karts, customize your look, and race away at breakneck speeds.
