Those looking to pick up a Switch 2 for the Holidays will have an extra option, with a Pokémon Legends: Z-A bundle.
Gott catch ’em all
While we wouldn’t say that Switch 2 consoles have been plentiful at retail in the console’s post-launch period, they’re also not completely impossible to find. Consoles have appeared at multiple retailers in the last month, both solo and bundled with retail-boxed games/memory cards. But apparently Nintendo isn’t exactly satisfied with that, and will be bringing another SKU to the market this fall.

That will arrive in the form of the Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition bundle. As you can see from the imaginative title, fans will find a Nintendo Switch 2 console in that box, and a copy of Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
Naturally, and apologies to physical library fans, but that will be a digital download code for the game. There’s also no special deco on the Switch 2 console, as it’s the same standard edition that is out right now. Kind of a bummer? Yeah, kind of, but it’s another option for those looking to add a Switch 2 console to their Holidays, and that’s not bad.
As for the price tag, that will be the same as the current Mario Kart World bundle, with the console marked in at $499.99 USD. Pre-orders are open right now, via Nintendo’s online shop and “select retailers”, with a launch date of October 16th.
