The second major expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Lex Imperialis is here

The Lex Imperialis expansion pack brings the Adeptus Arbites and a fresh questline to Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.

Owlcat Games’ Warhammer 40k cRPG just got a fair shake bigger, with the Lex Imperialis expansion pack. The just launched DLC includes a chunky 15 hour storyline that brings the Adeptus Arbites into the game, complete with the “grim and relentless” Imperial agent, Solomorne Anthar.

In conjunction with the new enforcer of Imperial law, players will make choices that Owlcat says will “ripple throughout the Imperium.” That’s in addition to making use of Solomorne Anthar’s signature weaponry, which will redefine “battlefield dynamics and tactical gameplay”, according to the press release.

Additionally, Anthar will make use of his loyal Cyber-Mastiff in the game, as well as cybernetic eagles. They should shake things up a bit.

Lex Imperialis is the second major expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. Thrusting players into the iron grip of Imperial Law, this DLC features a new 15-hour storyline that introduces the Adeptus Arbites, a faction of incorruptible enforcers, and a new companion — the grim and relentless Solomorne Anthar. With battle Familiars like cybernetic eagles and cyber-mastiffs, this DLC deeply enriches the gameplay and narrative layers of Rogue Trader.

Along with today’s arrival of Lex Imperialis for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Owlcat Games has also detailed the game’s second Season Pass. The bundle, which can be pre-purchased now, touts a pair of additional expansions for the base game, as well as some aesthetics.

The expansions sound like they’ll be pretty meaty as well, with the third such addition focusing on the Necrons, and the fourth heading into the Processional of the Damned…

Additionally, Owlcat recently announced the Season Pass 2 for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, bundling two new expansions and an appearance customization pack. The third major addition to the game allows players to enter a Necron vault curated by the iconic Trazyn the Infinite, challenge ancient guardians, and uncover relics tied to the Von Valancius legacy. The fourth grants access to the Processional of the Damned — a surreal voidship graveyard, driven by a descent into madness and mystery. Each DLC will feature a new companion character, new quests deeply integrated into the main storyline, new mechanics, and much more. 

Players who pre-purchased the new Season Pass will also receive an exclusive Appearance Pack. This includes new hairstyles and augmenting implants that become instantly available for customizing their Lord Captain.
