The demo for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is the biggest yet for the series

Series fans must be more than ready for another video game skate-session, as the demo for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 has been big.

Demo time

Stealth-dropping a demo for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 during the Xbox showcase turned out to be a pretty popular move by publisher Activision. The “Foundry” demo has apparently been a smash, scoring the biggest player numbers ever for a demo in the series.

As to how many took part, we can’t tell you since Activision hasn’t released the internal numbers, but when you recall the games that this line of titles has included, that’s a pretty impressive statement on its face. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the game looks terrific, as developer Iron Galaxy is bringing another pair of classics back to life with style.

That’s the trailer for the Foundry demo that you see above, but while it was released on June 8th, there’s still plenty of time to play for yourself if you missed out. Activision says that the demo is still very much available, and is downloadable/playable by pre-ordering a copy of the full game. Though that’s not the only way to play.

While the demo is available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, those who have a Game Pass subscription can get in on the action as well. So not only will said subscribers be able to play Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 when it arrives in full on July 11th, but they can grab a download of that demo and get a feel for the action with no extra steps required.
