Hot Toys adds the Clone Commando to its Star Wars collection

Clad in all-white armor, the Clone Commandos served under the Republic and Empire, and now are joining Hot Toys’ lineup.

Going commando

Most fans probably still best know the Clone Commandos from the Star Wars: Republic Commando video game. Maybe not though, as the troop type has appeared in a few different forms of media at this point, including The Bad Batch. That’s where this new Hot Toys action figure actually spins out of, reflecting the appearance of the trooper from the Disney+ animated show.

The Clone Commando looks to feature Hot Toys’ typical high-level sculpting and articulation, plus a selection of accessories that includes a magnetic backpack, plus an LED light-up visor. As looks go, it all adds up to be a pretty darn slick one.

Clone commandos are elite clone troopers, clad in heavy armor and equipped with blaster rifles. These stalwart soldiers fought throughout the Clone Wars, first for the Republic and then transiting to the Empire where they were instrumental in training the first non-clone troopers.

Inspired by Star Wars: The Bad Batch, the Clone Commando™ 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys features carefully crafted armor and an LED light-up helmet. This highly poseable figure features 30 points of articulation and comes with 6 interchangeable hands, allowing for a variety of display options. Other accessories include two blaster rifles, thermal detonators, plus a magnetic military backpack.

Bolster your ranks with the Clone Commando™ 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys. Available to pre-order from Sideshow.com.

Sideshow press release

The Clone Commando is up for pre-order right now via Sideshow, and is priced in at $235 USD. It’s going to be a little while til he arrives though, as he isn’t expected to ship until some time in the second half of 2025.
