Nintendo Switch Indie World Showcase scheduled for tomorrow

A delivery of news for upcoming independent games will be on tap for Nintendo Switch fans, with tomorrow’s showcase.

A pretty chunky showcase event is being planned out for tomorrow, with Nintendo’s latest Direct presentation. Officially another in the series of Indie World Showcases, the event will contain news including “announcements and updates” on indie stuff that’ll be landing on the Switch this year.

So basically, you’ll hear a bit about both games you already know about, and see announcements for stuff formerly unrevealed. And as noted, all of it will be for games coming this calendar year, so we’re not talking about stuff that’s years off. Hopefully we’ll see some notables, for both the short term and maybe a few aimed at the Holiday Season.

The show is scheduled to run for about 20 minutes as well, so it’s a little on the longer side for Directs. Fans will be able to tune into the either Nintendo’s YouTube or Twitch channels to catch it, when it goes live at 10am eastern time, tomorrow, April 17th, 2024.
