Nintendo celebrates MAR10 ’24 with happenings and special opportunities

Is this coming Mario Day the biggest one yet for Nintendo fans? Maybe, as the company has a whole mess of stuff planned.

If you somehow are a video game fan and you don’t know the significance of the modern faux holiday that is MAR10, it’s pretty simple. The name directly refers to March 10th, which is a date that Nintendo set aside a few years ago to celebrate the company’s number one mascot, Mario. Get it? “MAR10″… “Mario”. Yeah.

In any event, the day has traditionally been one with some Nintendo-powered Mario flavor to it, but this year’s looks to be the biggest and most expansive yet. Fans will be able to participate in happenings at the Nintendo Store in NYC, but also at GameStop locations, and online via the Switch. Even if you don’t have an account, you’ll be able to grab a free 14 day trial of the service, to throw down with some classic Mario games.
