One of the nicest surprises of 2023, RoboCop: Rogue City just got a healthy dose of new content, including a New Game+.
There will be… trouble
Launched at the tail end of 2023, NACON and developer Teyon’s RoboCop: Rogue City was a huge surprise. Not only did the title look solid, but it had great controls, a solid storyline, and even sported the original Robo, actor Peter Weller.
One of the things that it was lacking though, was a New Game+ mode. Fans apparently were asking to get one, to prolong the Rogue City experience, and NACON was keen to grant their wish… and then some. That happened today, as the new update has officially dropped for all versions of the game.
So what’s included? Well, for one thing there’s a new difficulty called The Will be Trouble, which players will have a tough time indeed making their way through. As with these kinds of modes though, it’ll be made a little bit friendlier as all of the experienced gained from playing the base game through will carry over.
That’s not all though, as the update includes new cosmetics, upgrades, and even some fresh achievements.
New Features:
- New Game+ mode
- New game difficulty: “There will be trouble”
- Exclusive gold skin for the Auto-9
- 3 new OCP motherboards to upgrade the Auto-9
- 5 new OCP chips to upgrade the Auto-9
- 3 new achievements to unlock
NACON press release
Again the “There Will be Trouble” update is available today, for all versions of the game. That, by the way, is out for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
