Ring in 2024 with Marvel’s NYE variant covers

Marvel’s Stormbreakers artists are back with a new collection of variant covers, this time with a New Year’s Eve theme.

With the year rolling by at a breakneck pace, Marvel Comics has announced what might be a first for the publisher. We certainly can’t remember a time when there was a New Year’s Eve cover initiative, but that’s just what’s coming up for NYE 2024.

The company will have variants flowing out to some of its biggest superhero books to mark the holiday, like Daredevil, Ghost Rider, X-Men and more, and all will be from its corps of “Stormbreakers”. If you don’t know that term, don’t sweat it, it’s basically just code for some of the company’s young talent.

And that group will be providing some genuinely cool pieces for the turn of the year.

Each month, Marvel’s Stormbreakers bring their incredible talents to your favorite comic series and characters and flex their skills with exciting themed variant cover collections. The current group of artists includes Elena Casagrande, Nic Klein, Jan Bazaldua, Chris Allen, Martin Coccolo, Lucas Werneck, Federico Vicentini, and C.F. Villa. Each of these artists embody the raw talent and creative potential to shatter the limits of visual storytelling in comics today! As the next evolution of the groundbreaking Marvel’s Young Guns program, Marvel’s Stormbreakers continues the tradition of spotlighting and elevating these powerful artists to showcase their abilities, artwork and prominence in the world of comic books.

Tough not to dig that Daredevil cover. As for the full lit though, you can look for the variants to start hitting at the top of next month, with new issues arriving weekly thereafter. So if you want ’em all, then you might want to try reserving some now, via your local comics shop.
