Comics come to life with Hellboy: Web of Wyrd, out now

Mike Mignola’s most famous creation is back and ready for action in today’s action adventure, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd.

Yeah, that’s Wyrd

Trust us, you’ve never seen a game look quite like Hellboy: Web of Wyrd, the newest from Good Shepard Entertainment and Upstream Arcade, and built in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics itself. The just-launched action title actually looks like a classic Hellboy comic that’s sprung to life from the printed page. And starring the voice of late-actor Lance Reddick, Big Red has never sounded better.

In the game, the BPRD sends Hellboy into a bizarro dimension that’s called “the Wyrd”. Once into it’s confines, he’s tasked with finding lost members of the organization, and naturally battling scores of hideous otherworldly beasts. That’s sure to set him off.

Hellboy Web of Wyrd places players in the shoes of Big Red himself (voiced by Lance Reddick) as he is sent across the strange realm of the Wyrd. When an agent of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.) goes missing investigating the Butterfly House and psychic spikes are discovered across the globe, the world’s foremost cambion hunter of the supernatural – Hellboy – is called in.

Good Shepard Entertainment press release

Ready to get Wyrd? Priced in at $24.99 USD, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is out right now for Xbox and and PlayStation platforms, the Switch, and the PC.
