Modern Warfare II’s Haunting starts now with surprise guests stars like Evil Dead’s Ash, Hellsing’s Alucard and more

There’s a heck of a lot of cool horror stuff happening as a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II’s just-launched Season 06.

Okay so the version of Ash Williams in Call of Duty’s new Season 06 is from Evil Dead II and not Army of Darkness, but you get the idea.

And if you’re as big of a fan of the horror-hero as we are, then he’s probably enough to get you pumped for the FPS’ latest content drop as anything else. But before you run over to your platform of choice and buy the new season, there’s quite a bit more that you’d probably like to know about as well.

For one thing, Ash isn’t alone in terms of guest stars. Masters of the Universe’s own Lord of Destruction Skeletor is included too, along with Todd McFarlane’s Spawn and Clown, Inarius and Lilith from Diablo, and Alucard from the iconic anime Hellsing.

In Warzone:

• Operation Nightmare is a GO: Investigate sinister anomalies across the map, and face a host of monstrous targets as you gradually clear a Bounty board of otherworldly terrors!
• Lockdown returns, otherworldly loot, and events: Head to Vondel for more Lockdown action, gather Souls for in-game rewards, and prepare for plenty of jump scares, eldritch equipment, and much more.

In Modern Warfare II:

• Two Haunting Map reskins. El Asilo celebrates Día de Muertos, while Embassy becomes the site of a bloody zombie attack.
• A frightening twist on classic modes. Jump scares, skulls, zombies, and more descend on your favorite classic modes, including twisted takes on Domination, Kill Confirmed, Grind, Drop Zone, and Infected.
