Trailer: Apple releases the first look at season 2 of Prehistoric Planet

You probably wouldn’t want to be on Earth 65 million years ago, because it was likely terrifying. So why not watch a reasonable facsimile?

When dinosaurs ruled the Earth

The latest primeval offering from Apple TV+, Prehistoric Planet season 2 is almost here. The mini-series will play out across 5 days, in a weeklong event on the platform.

Here’s your first look:

Exploring five new habitats, audiences can expect to be transported to the active volcanoes of India, the marshlands of Madagascar, the deep oceans near North America, and so much more. Throughout this season, the series and its creators take you up close into dinosaurs’ habitats to experience the dangers, the adventures, and even the camaraderie between species unlike we’ve seen before.

Apple TV+ press release

As you can see there, Prehistoric Planet 2 will be narrated by Sir David Attenborough, and will feature music by Bleeding Fingers Music. Who’s that? It’s a team made up of Hans Zimmer, Anže Rozman, and Kara Talve. So in other words, it’s likely going to have a heck of a score.

Ready to travel back, 66 million years? Prehistoric Planet continues on May 22nd, 2023, only on Apple TV+.
