Have axe, will slaughter zombies. Meet Dead Island 2’s Clara

The latest video in the lead up to Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios’ Dead Island 2 introduces Clara, a survivor of Hell-A who has a penchant for axes.

Deep Silver continues its ongoing series today, introducing the survivors of Dead Island 2’s zombie outbreak. The Los Angeles apocalypse has seen a few already, but today reveals its latest with Clara.

Turns out that an axe can be a handy weapon when facing an army of the reanimated dead. It’s even better too, when you mount a circular saw on the end.

Built like a tank, Carla doesn’t even need to use the sharp end of an ax to get rid of any unfortunate undead that might cross her path, making her one of the best people to stick by in the dangerous world of HELL-A. Just be sure to stay clear of her swings.

If you somehow don’t know, Dead Island 2 brings the original game’s outbreak to the US mainland, infecting LA. Now known as Hell-A, the city is quarantined and overrun with the angry dead, and it’s up to a small group of survivors to stay living and escape.

Expect a ton of blood and guts, and plenty of dark humor, when Dead Island 2 hits consoles and the PC on April 28th.
