Trailer: Supercross is back this winter, with Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game 6

Promising to be “the most realistic yet approachable” game yet for the series, Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game 6 hits this March.

Rev ’em up

Seven-time Supercross champion Jeremy McGrath will coach players through a renewed career modefeaturing the sport’s official riders and tracks. From the search for the first sponsors in the 250SX Futures Class to dueling 450SX Class Championship rivals, players will climb the ladder from beginner to pro in the most realistic and interactive way.

The journey to glory starts in the Supercross Academy, where the “King of Supercross” will guide players on a variety of tutorials and challenges to ease the learning curve and speed-up progression. These will help newcomers take their first steps in the Supercross world, whereas expert players will be able to unlock their full potential. Several new tools and settings will allow complete customization of riding aids (e.g., auto steering, auto brakes, auto throttle, etc.) and bike set-ups, letting players prepare for the most competitive off-road motorcycle racing championship on the planet.

Field Motor Sports press release

Along with the above, Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game 6 will also offer a skill tree. And yes, that’s exactly what it sounds like, allowing players the ability to upgrade their riders. That might be the first time I’ve seen something like that in a sports game.

Speaking of, Supercross 6 will also pay attention to riders’ physical and mental shape. Think it’ll be easy to come back from an injury or a bad loss? That’s something that you’re going to have to see to as well.

Those are the big innovations, but the game will also offer a fill collection of modes to play, online action, and customization. You’ll be able to catch all of the rough and tumble action, when Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game 6 pulls onto Xbox and PlayStation platforms as well as the PC this March the 9th.
