While it might be from a… controversial (ahem) Star Wars movie, the Executioner helm is nonetheless a slick design. It’s up for pre-order now.
It just wasn’t very good
Yeah, the sequel trilogy wasn’t great. What? I’m being kind. But while the set of films became increasingly worse as it went on, many of the designs were still pretty cool. Take the First Order Stormtroopers for example.
The troop types were all pretty neat, with a few standouts, like the Executioner. Maybe one of the most unique Clone/Stormtrooper designs to hit the big screen, the stark white armor with black flair made for a cool visual.
And now you can add one to your own collection, thanks to Denuo Novo. The high-end collectible company has a wearable Executioner Trooper helmet that’s just hit the pre-order phase, with a launch targeting the first quarter of 2023.
In the First Order, execution duty isn’t the domain of a specialized unit, but an assignment that any stormtrooper may draw. Executioner troopers carry powerful laser axes and wear armor with black carbon-finish accents. Their serial numbers are never broadcast to squamates’ helmet displays, leaving their identities anonymous.
This helmet accessory includes details recreated from STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI™ screen-used production assets and was digitally scanned for exacting reproduction.
Denuo Novo press release
The helmet is crafted from fiberglass, with the matte black strip painted on. It’s also ready-to-wear right out of the box, with a fully padded interior, and fits up to a size 8 (US) hat. There’s a bit of customization possible as well, as it features movable pads inside that you can use to tailor the fit.
And along with the helmet, Denuo Novo also has a full line of First Order gear. That includes “Stormtrooper Kit, Neck Seals and Pauldrons”. You can find all of that here.
As for the helmet itself, pre-orders are available right here, and priced in at $675 USD.
