Nintendo set to discuss this winter’s games at Direct tomorrow

There’s a Nintendo Direct coming up tomorrow and if you’re looking forward to what the Switch will offer this winter, you’ll wanna watch.

Coming soon

While Nintendo’s Directs usually don’t have a ton of advance warning, it’s typically more than a day. Not this time though, as the company has just announced one for tomorrow.

The event will hit Nintendo’s YouTube channel, and also in a break with tradition, we don’t have a mini-player to offer you. Instead, you’ll have to view it by heading to the company’s video page.

While the delivery might have been a little off, the rest of the announcement is right in line with the Nintendo-standard. And by that, I mean we don’t have much of an idea what’ll be covered. Well, outside of a general theme, I mean.

And that might actually make things a little interesting. The language in the press release specifically says the Direct will be showing titles “launching this winter”, and not through the holiday season. So the games shown at the even tomorrow won’t be just titles landing on the Switch for the upcoming Christmas season.

This is purely conjecture of course, but I’d say you can likely include releases up to March 2023 in the mix. So could there be a few surprises scattered through the show? Probably.

Tomorrow’s (September 13th) Nintendo Direct opens up at 10am eastern time.
