Nintendo Doownlooad: The Ooblets are Here!

Ooblets, and Disney, and LEGO, oh my! It’s kind of a packed week for Nintendo fans, with some big names, and loads of smaller releases.

They really gave Ooblets top billing?

I have to admit, I just don’t get how Nintendo decides which games get top billing every week in the Download. Most of the time, (unless it’s a first-party title) it seems like the obviously choice gets nudged to the side for something that’s not all that big of a drop.

Take this week for example. While there isn’t a ‘blockbuster’ on the list, Ooblets is given the nod over a Disney game. On name recognition alone, Disney Dreamlight Valley should get the top spot, but nope, it’s Ooblets.

Anyway, since Ooblets and a second-tier Disney release are the games I’m talking about here, you might’ve gathered that this isn’t a big week for the Switch. And you’d be on target with that, though there are a whole mess of games hitting.

Those do include Commandos 3 – HD Remaster, a very promising looking redux of the final game in that classic strategy series, and LEGO Brawls. Brawls kind of came out of nowhere for me, and looks like it might be a bit of a sleeper. After all, it’s not every day that you see a LEGO fighting game.

Scroll down and have a look though, maybe you’ll sort something that catches your eye.
