SDCC 22: Legendary Comics takes the wraps off of Con itinerary

Legendary will be making its way to the show next week, and that includes a selection of panels. They’ll be delving into horror, the YA space and more.

One of the newer ‘major’ publishing houses in the comics universe, first opening in 2010, Legendary is a name that pretty much every pop culture fan knows pretty well. Of course, that’s from the movie end of the industry, but you get the drift.

As a publisher though, Legendary has been making some inroads over that past decade-plus. With books like Dune, Pacific Rim, Godzilla, Dracula, Pikachu, and lots more, it’s easy to see why. And of course it goes without saying that its also been a force at Comic Cons.

Legendary has attended major Cons on both coasts, and that includes SDCC. This year, the publisher will be back on hand, with a booth and a selection of panels. Those will focus on horror comics, as well as the Young Adult market.

Here’s what the schedule looks like:

WE DO!:  From daring adventure to first love and feelings, what is it that makes YA so special?  Join Nikita Kannekanti (Legendary Comics Senior Editor) and panel guests Michele Wells (Tapas Media CCO), Russ Busse (IDW Senior Editor Middle Grade & YA Originals), Alex Antone (Senior Editor, Skybound Comet/Image Comics) and Dafna Pleban (Senior Editor, BOOM! Box) in a rousing conversation about what they look for in YA storytelling and why we all love it so much.
