DST serves up special limited Han Solo statue for 40th anniversary

Diamond is celebrating four decades of delivering comics, toys, and collectibles to fans, with a limited edition Han Solo statue.

He’s probably tall enough

Flat-out one of the most iconic scenes in the classic Star Wars films, the invasion of the Death Star by Luke, Han, and Obi-Wan was memorable for a few things. One of those was pretty easily the stolen Stormtrooper uniforms that the former two heroes wore.

It seems to be a fan-favorite look, whether you’re talking about the movies themselves, toys, or other collectibles. Playing off of that motif will be the new 40th anniversary piece from DST.

No, it’s not a Star Wars anniversary that’s being celebrated, but DST’s. As stated above, it’s been 40 years that the company has been around, and so it’s releasing a celebratory collectible to mark the occasion. Hence Han.

Diamond Comic Distributors has been selling comic books, graphic novels, magazines, toys and related items to specialty retailers for 40 years, and that anniversary deserves something special. That’s why they’re offering an exclusive Star Wars statue to their customers, and it’s Han Solo!

Han Solo dons his stormtrooper disguise for this new Milestones 1/6 Scale Statue from Gentle Giant Ltd. Depicting Han with Imperial blaster raised, and featuring interchangeable helmeted and unhelmeted heads, it stands approximately 12 inches tall atop a black disc base, and is limited to only 1000 pieces! It comes packaged with a numbered certificate of authenticity in a full-color box.

This item will ship in late 2022.
