The King of Fighters XV revealed

A huge fan-favorite, SNK’s iconic fighting game franchise is back once again for round fifteen. Check out the first look at The King of Fighters XV.

Shatter all expectations

Teased not all that long ago, we now have the first look at SNK’s next KoF. The game looks to be keeping the traditional 2D look that the series has hung its hat on, but with 3D characters and stages.

Here’s a look at it in action:

Looking sharp there, and of course it’s always good to see some classic KoF fighters back for another go. As you can see The King of Fighters XV will indeed feature classic faves like Mai and Kyo, who’ll round out what’s likely to be a pretty big roster of characters.

If you haven’t played a KoF before, basically you should expect to see a selection of playable characters from across SNK’s library. Heroes and villains from the likes of Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury, and more are the norm.

While we have our first look at the game though, there are no details on anything else. So what consoles this game will ring the bell on, and when it might make its entrance remains a mystery.
