More McFarlane DC Multiverse figures hit specialty retailers

Formerly pretty tough to find, the first wave of McFarlane Toys’ “DC Metal”-themed Multiverse figures are much easier to come by now.

A multiverse of figures

McFarlane Toys has had the DC license since January, and they’ve already gone from being a line that fans were ambivalent about, to being a fan-favorite. It’s easy to see why though.

While the first few waves were pretty safe, McFarlane has been taking much more in the way of calculated risks since. Mainly that’s due to DC Comics’ Metal event, which was a pretty big hit for the publisher. The toy company has revealed that it will be plumbing the Dark Multiverse for a few waves at least.

The first of those though, hasn’t been all that easy to find. Well, till now anyway. Formerly a (seemingly) Walmart exclusive, the initial series of Metal figures has just hit specialty retailers online. And that means that you can now find them at the BBTS’ and Entertainment Earth’s of the world.

The lineup just went live for pre-orders, and from EE’s listing it looks like they’ll be shipping out next month. And if you’ve been paying attention, you know that a November launch puts them right in line with the second wave of Metal figs. Yep, that’s a lotta Metal. Something to give thanks for, one might say.

If you’d like to check out the series, or anything else from McFarlane, definitely click over to Entertainment Earth’s site. And as usual, if you do buy anything via an EE link that you find here on BG, we’ll get a small commission from your purchase.
