After a somewhat packed July, the final month of summer hits a relative lull. Though that doesn’t mean that there won’t be a few decent releases.
The calm
There should be no surprise that there isn’t too much to get excited about this month in terms of new games. August is almost always a slow period with typically a few bigger games seeing launch at the close of the month. That usually leads nicely into the Holiday release calendar.
This year will be no exception, even in the wake of a July that was surprisingly solid. Case in point, the waning days of August give us Control, Man of Medan, The Mana Collection, and even a physical copy of Dead Cells. Before that? Eh… better to just scroll down and take a look.
