Marvel Comics press release

Does it feel like War of the Realms has been going on for a while already to anyone else? Maybe it’s just me, but this seems to be a theme with Marvel’s big events. The publisher talks about them so much that it starts to feel like they already happened. For War of the Realms, we’ve been talking about and looking at promo materials for months.

Nevertheless, the big event for early 2019 is finally almost here and it’s actually looking pretty cool. War stars a ton of Norse-related characters and themes, and is promised to serve up exactly what you’d expect from a classic Marvel event series.

By that I mean every big time superhero you can think of. Honestly, that’s kind of enough to get me interested. Now we’ve just gotta see if the proceedings live up to the hype.

Fortunately, these two covers from Ron Lim and Adi Granov certainly do. Check them out in the gallery below.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
