DC Comics celebrates Women’s History Month with Leading Ladies digital sale

Keep up with your favorite female DC Comics’ heroes with the Leading Ladies sale. The digital initiative will net you a hefty discount on adventures starring some of DC’s brightest stars like Batgirl and Wonder Woman.

March is Women’s History Month, in case you didn’t know, and DC Comics is prepped to offer up some nice discounts on featured female stars. Actually, the sale isn’t just focused on fictional females either. Writes and artists like Hope Larson, Gail Simone, Babs Tarr, Shawna Benson, Julie Benson, Marguerite Bennett are all included.

And there are some big characters included too. We mentioned Batgirl and Wonder Woman, but Harley Quinn and Batwoman stories are on offer as well. Digital graphic novel collection s range in price here, from $5.99 to $7.99. A special note goes to the favorite that saw the reinvention of Barbara Gordon though, as  Batgirl vol. 1: The Batgirl of Burnside hits just $4.99.

And in addition to the main DCU books, the publisher also has some deals on their young readers series. Shea Fontana’s DC Superhero Girls is on sale as well. Books included there are “HITS AND MYTHS, FINALS CRISIS and SUMMER OLYMPUS.”
