Just in case you forgot, the SNES Classic arrives tomorrow

Yes it’s a year after few fans could locate an NES Classic, and once again the Nintendo faithful will be out. This time they’ll be looking for an SNES.

SNES Classic is GO

Well, maybe. After last year and the near-total debacle that was the NES Classic, it’s not easy to be hopeful that SNES’ will be plentiful. Yes, Nintendo says that they’ll be around, with shipments arriving all Holiday season. I understand that. But realistically, what do you reckon the chances are that you’ll be able to just walk into a store and buy one.

Yeah, me too.

Thing is though, even with possible shortages, the SNES Classic is going to be one of the biggest items out there this Holiday Season. I mean, let’s be honest, it’s pretty awesome.

“Super NES Classic Edition is perfect for any Nintendo fan, retro gamer or anyone who just wants to play some really fun video games,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “And at a reasonable price, the system will be a great addition to any holiday shopping list.”

And while the game list isn’t all that long for the little console, it is unbelievably good. Most of these games are smash hits, and the unreleased Star Fox 2 is in there too. Check this out, cause there’s not a clunker in the 21 game-deep bunch (well, maybe Dream Course):
