Croagunk Joins Pokken Tournament at the Arcades

No word yet as to whether or not Croagunk and the previously announced Scizor will come to Wii U via update or paid DLC, if at all.

Pokken Tournament is about to get a little closer to catching them all as Poison/Fighting toad Croagunk joins the roster.  See the trailer to get a sense of how this Pokemon will fare against the competition, despite his small stature.

Croagunk may enjoy his upgrade from supporting character, but it’s too bad he doesn’t also enjoy an evolution into Toxicroak (one of this writer’s personal favorites from the fourth generation).

Either way, he looks like a blast to play.  We can only hope he and Scizor make it into the brawler on Wii U in some form, rather than simply remain trapped in the overseas arcade version.

Perhaps they’ll at least show up on the Switch?  Only time will tell!

Croagunk joins Pokken Tournament’s arcade version on November 10, 2016.
